"See How Far We've Come"

was created in for the Commanding Officer of the Office of Naval Intelligence demonstrating what the “New ONI” has to offer the Navy.  The Office of Naval Intelligence is America’s longest serving intelligence agency founded in 1882.  Creating a national center dedicated to maritime issues elevates the maritime domain to a previously unseen national level of importance.  This video appeared on the ONI homepage website for two years used as a recruiting tool.  (6:05)

"Love at First Bite"

is a sizzle reel for a proposed program created for the approximately 15 million Americans – including 3 million children – that suffer from food allergies, and the prevalence is increasing.  Each year in the U.S., it is estimated that anaphylaxis caused by food results in 150 to 200 deaths. Death can be sudden, sometimes occurring within minutes.  Dennis Stanley of Chantel's Cakes & Pastries in Sterling, VA has been creating items for those affected (and not affected) by food allergies for over 20 years with many heart-warming stories to tell.  Clients have included Oprah Winfrey, President George W. Bush, and President Barack Obama's daughter, Sasha.   (3:15)  and  (9:16)

"Alexandria Film Festival: Director Interview"

ReelFilmNews.com's Brandon Troy speaks with WBC World Middleweight boxing champion Tori Nelson and director Jeff Riegel at the 2012 Alexandria Film Festival.

Documentary filmmaker Jeff Riegel has been shadowing Ashburn mom and Women's International Boxing Association champion Tori "Sho Nuff" Nelson. Riegel's filming a documentary about the young mother who struggles to make ends meet in Loudoun County, but wants to raise her children here. She has at times worked three or four jobs while training.

"It's a testament to Tori and her character," Riegel said in an interview with ReelFilmNew.com's Brandon Troy, adding that women boxers do not get the recognition the United States that they do elsewhere. "We're trying to get Tori's name out there."

Nelson's hard work resulted in winning SIX WORLD TITLE belsts across three weight classes.  Nelson said in the ReelFilm interview that women boxers fight an uphill battle.  "In the United States, women don't get the backing and support the men get," she said. Women also have to continue caring for children, Nelson said. "We do all this training while we raise our kids."   (7:13)

"Jeff Riegel: Resume Reel" (2000-2010)

My (early) Video Resume Reel pulls together some of the best concise clips from all of the full-length videos listed on my previous video website; demonstrates my editing technique, use of graphics, special titling effects, sounds, and music. These are strictly post-2000 clips taken from unclassified projects while at The Office of Naval Intelligence.  (6:16)
